A mining ship has been sending strange signals in the last few weeks. It started out as simple SOS calls, and quickly turned into bone chilling screams. Four mercenaries were sent to investigate. They were instructed to keep their microphones on. They got cut down one by one as time passed. What felt like one thousand years was only sixty minutes.
They tried to get a response from the mercenaries. After three attempts to establish contact. A voice that did not belong to any of them said “The Midnight Lord is coming”
After that all they heard was static. They checked the scanners one final time. But the mining ship was gone. Vanished leaving absolutely nothing behind. That ship was in no condition to move. It was using back-up generators to maintain life support.
What happened on this ship? Where is it now?
