We’re trillions in debt. The dollar store is the 1.25 store, and gas prices are around 5 dollars. Miranda Rights have been rewritten, and abortion is now up to the states. I don’t know if this will be a multiple part series or just a single post.
But we need to start rethinking this nation, and how it operates.
The economy & cost of living situation is the primary focus. If this isn’t fixed nothing else matters. I’m not a fan of paper currency but here’s one possible fix.
Temporary ban on printing new dollars, and businesses accepting cash. Reduce the physical money supply by 20%. By either destroying it or keeping it locked away in a safe. Lower money flow and the value goes back up.
A digital currency backed by a basket of valuable assets is my preferred option. 1 trillion digital dollars will be the maximum amount on the blockchain. The digital dollar will be backed by silver, gold, oil, and precious gemstones.
The limited quantity, and the assets it’s backed by will keep it relatively stable. Scarcity does create value after all. We cannot keep the money printer running 24/7.
I did do a 3 part series on how to fix the Communist Party. As well as my thoughts on how the GOP could improve itself in the Mayra Flores piece. Plenty of excellent ideas there. Probably won’t share all of them here.
My article on Christian Feminism is also relevant to the current times. Given the recent Supreme Court decision. Definitely worth a look but let’s move on to energy prices.
Energy is a very big issue right now. Very little solutions, and lots of excuses going on. We need to increase domestic oil production, and sales. We also need to get our foreign oil from Venezuela, Canada, Nigeria, and Mexico. A shorter distance from the United States means a lower shipping cost.
Nuclear power also needs to be given another chance. With modern innovations it will be a lot safer than before. It’s a low carbon energy source.
We also need to take Nikola Tesla’s ideas more seriously. His wireless electricity, and many others could push humanity forward. Choosing Edison over him was foolish. Humanity was held back because of this decision.
United States 2.0 needs new thought leaders to build itself around. Here’s a list of what I think would be ideal.
- Otto Von Bismarck
- Jack Parsons
- Aleister Crowley
- Huey Long
- Franklin D Roosevelt
- Theodore Roosevelt
- Josip Broz Tito
- Enver Hoxha
- Gerald Gardner
- Nestorius
- Dion Fortune
- Orpheus
- Lázaro Cárdenas
- António de Oliveira Salazar
- Alexander Hamilton
- Peter Kropotkin
- G. K. Chesterton
- Zoroaster
Nikola Tesla is obviously someone to consider as well.
The ideology of Milton Friedman, Ronald Reagan, John Maynard Keynes, and the Clintons is destructive. History did not end in the 1990s. Neoliberalism is flawed.
Russia has become relevant globally again. Everyone was popping champagne bottles while Russia got ready for round two. History is cyclical not linear. The characters might change, and new things might be added to the plot. But the story never changes.
America needs a reboot!
